About NWS
Hello, I'm Nick from NWS Carpentry & Joinery. I began learning carpentry at a young age from my grandfather, a master carpenter himself. He helped me develop a love for the craft, and encouraged me to persue a carpentry qualification at school.
I then went on to study architecture, seeing it as an opportunity to understand the relationship between form and function in woodworking.
From there my journey took me across the world - I've worked in Texas, Vancouver, and Sydney, building bespoke fitted furniture for bars and luxury homes. Each location offered its own unique insights into local construction methods and design styles.
I brought this knowledge and experience back to the UK, where my goal now is to create bespoke, handcrafted furniture tailored to every space, blending my diverse experience into each piece.
This isn't just a job, it's my passion, and I'm always learning and continuing to develop my skills in order to best cater for my customers and their requirements.
